Downunder Working Dogs Inc

 · A GREAT STORY.

This is a great story to come out of the Australian Supreme Sheepdog Championship, which has just concluded in Tasmania. Nan Lloyd and her Kelpie dog Ace, drove all the way from Western Australia to compete. Nan is a very capable trainer and breeder and does it because she loves her dogs. Now Nan isn't someone who blows her own trumpet. She is a very humble lady. Nan and Ace were placed 4th in the Improver class in the trial. This is of course the most prestigious event in Australia with all the top guns competing. So Nan and Ace and the other dogs in her pack will toddle off in the morning to the ferry to get back onto the mainland and then face the arduous trip all the way back to Western Australia. We need more 'Nan Lloyds' in our sport!!! Next time you are feeling too lazy to get out and train your dogs, think of Nan's great accomplishment, and let it be your inspiration!!! Well done Nan.
